Lots of “ists” in my satchel, among them: Journalist, feminist, humanist (in the ethics form — God’s gotta be here laughing and crying at what’s going on in Her world), artist and faithful servant to Zeus, the Power Pug.

  1. Sexual Harassment is unacceptable and an abomination to all humans. In the case of young teens, or even college age students, I understand they are not asking for abuse. However, the youthful female code of ethics must change in order not to ‘appear’ to provoke the animal male mind.

This refers to dress code specifically. Girls, please cover up, look dignified and respectable in your dress. Do not show all body parts. It’s bad enough predators will find targets that appear weak, or anyone they can overtake in a vulnerable situation. Stay in groups and be escorted. It is sad these steps of caution must be taken, but accept reality in today’s world.

How can society improve the situation? We better start examining our culture, building our support groups, and changing the way we bring up the next generation. Thank you for bringing this issue to light.
